How do you like the idea of earning money without dealing with customers or answering emails. This is possible when you run a Google Adsense site. With Adsense sites, you can have a virtual passive-income that requires little maintaining. But is this the best option for an online business? Here are the positives of Google Adsense sites:

1. They are perfect for people who run information sites that have no related affiliate product
2. You can set it and leave it. With Google Adsense, you can create a content page, and there is little need to update the content.
3. Adsense sites are easy to scale. Since they require little upkeep, you can easily create multiple websites that each make a nice income.
   Here are the negatives of Google Adsense sites:
4. They are not a great long term solution. Instead of getting your visitors to subscribe to a mailing list, you are focusing on getting people to click on ads. Real online businesses concentrate on building assets that can use for long-term growth.
5. These sites are dependent on search engines. Most Google Adsense sites make the mistake of depending on search engines for the majority of their traffic. If the SE algorithms change then your income might drop significantly.

Affiliate Marketing

Being an affiliate marketer is great for those who want build a theme site. With this type of business, you can easily create web pages around a topic and get people to buy products through your products. If done correctly, you can easily build a loyal following that will help you make money for years to come. But can affiliate marketing make you more money then Google Adsense? Here are the positives of affiliate marketing:

1. A great advantage of affiliate-marketing is that you can build a long term business that will bring in a revenue stream for years.
2. With affiliate-marketers you need to focus on building an email list. This list is a major asset of your business. Every time you have an offer, you can go to your list and increase your profits..
3. Unlike Google Adsense sites, which only concentrates on high paying keywords, an affiliate marketing site can be centered on a topic that you have an interest in.
   Here are the negatives of affiliate marketing:
4. You have to learn how to write persuasively and get people to purchase the product that you are recommending. For many people this is a difficult skill to learn.
5. Each affiliate marketing site requires a lot of effort. You must spend a lot of time writing product reviews, building your email list and creating web content.

So which is better: Affiliate marketing or Google Adsense?

The answer is that both are great solutions for an online business. Instead of choosing one over the other, you should create websites that can take advantage of both. Here is how you can do this:

1. Create a content site on a topic that you are interest in, while paying a good amount per Adsense click.
2. Integrate your Adsense into the menu bars and the top of your web content.
3. Add web pages for affiliate-products and your opt-in email list. But, make sure that you leave out the Adsense blocks on these pages. This way you are ensuring that you are building your long-term assets.
4. Create optimized web page articles that focus on a specific keyword phrase. Place your Google Adsense in these blocks.
5. Provide your email list with good content and product recommendations. Once in awhile, email your list and provide a link to some of your web articles. That way, you can earn a little bit of m*ney from your subscribers while giving them good content.

By focusing on both affiliate products and Google Adsense, you will be building both short-term and long-term profits.

Wah wah.. ubek-ubek blogger satu ini, dengan mimpi dan keinginan macam macam, jadi saya sulit tidur alias dan resikonya sulit bermimpi. Yang benerin templatelah, nyesuaikan ini itu, jadi begadang terus. Banyak waktu terbuang untuk melek jadi sulit bermimpi. OK... sampai detik ini saya sudah dulu blog ini, dan saya belum atau tidak mendelete blog ini sebab siapa tahu kalau ada yang nyasar masih bisa ke rumah singgah baru saya di WWW.VANKOJO.COM

Sekarang waktunya tidur dan bermimpi lagi.

Hai ... bagaimana kabar "google adsense" anda? Masih seperti dulu atau sudah ada perubahan? Atau justru sudah dibanned sama google? Ya apapun yang terjadi saya tetap berharap yang terbaik buat anda. Aku sekedar mau kasih info, kalau Aku sekarang sangat senang dan begitu bersemangat dengan "google-adsense" ini. Dan ssst penghasilanku udah minimal 20,000 US lho tiap bulan. Bulan kemarin yang lumayan, hampir 30,000 US (tepatnya 29,120 US). Mau mecahin rekor ke 100,000 US. Tapi setidaknya cukupanlah buat kebutuhan sehari-hari (kurang-kurang dikit he he) Kalau mau lihat sreenshoot-nya di sini...

OK bentar ya screenshoot-nya belakangan :-) mau nerusin cerita dulu buat rekan-rekan yang mau serius di adsense.

Kalau sampai sekarang penghasilan anda masih kecil (tiap hari lihat account google) dan nyaris hari-hari hanya mendapatkan 0-1 US aja, saya dulu pernah mengalami. Ya masa-masa sulit. Saya sudah hampir menyerah di bisnis ini. Untunglah masih ada sedikit semangat dan rahmat Tuhan (Thanks God) untuk tetap bertahan.

Bisnis-bisnis saya di internet mandeg. Main Forex, afiliasi, HYIP, MLM dan lain sebagainya saya jalani untuk mengadu peruntungan, memperbaiki nasib. Tapi semuanya rata-rata kandas. Utang banyak, tagihan menumpuk. Entahlah apa yang akan saya lakukan saat itu. Bingung dan pasti stress.

Untunglah saya tertolong oleh motivasi yang sangat tinggi untuk memperbaiki kesejahteraan ekonomi keluarga, orang tua (asli dan mertua), adik-adik, kakak-kakak bahkan tetangga. Bahkan tak jarang motivasi untuk membangun bangsa dan negara (he he yang ini boleh tidak dipercaya).

Motivasi itu kuat sekali. Di tengah kesulitan yang mendera, saya buka-buka lagi web-web yang mengajarkan "bisnis" google adsense ini. Baik yang mengajarkan instan maupun bertahap. Bayangkan begitu susahnya saya membaca lagi dan menerapkan. Saya sudah ikut adsense ini lumayan sekitar setahunan lebih, tapi baru mendapat cek dari google 2 kali, itupun hanya kisaran 100-an dollar. Susah sekali, pikiran kosong (sampai takut kesambet jin, naudzubillah).

Saya menyadari harus memulai lagi dari 0 (alias NOL). dan hanya berbekal ilmu "nekad" doang wang wang. Saya baca-baca lagi webnya si Cosa (teman-teman banyak manggil Om Cosa, emang sudah Om?, but thanks ya Om). Membaca TOS, tips, SEO dll. Soal internet marketing banyak dibantu posting-posting Om Muflikhun. (Caranya membantu sambil bercanda, tak jarang juga ngutangin duit thanks ya Om). Juga sumber-sumber lain yang jutaan jumlahnya bertebaran di internet.

Syukurlah situasi ini tak berlangsung lama. Adsense saya mulai meningkat perlahan-lahan tapi pasti. Bulan-bulan pertama mulai dari NOL ini, rasanya begitu susah sekali keadaan ini. Untunglah semua segera berlalu. Dimulai dari peningkatan 5 USD per hari sampai sekarang rata-rata 90-100 USD per hari. Kadang-kadang sampai 200 USD per hari. Alhamdulillah.

Kini dengan penghasilan sekitar 250 juta per bulan (setidaknya 6 bulan terakhir ini), saya sudah memberangkatkan lagi 4 orang tua saya naik haji. Saya dan istri serta anak-anak juga udah "Naik Haji" semua. Membantu saudara-saudara bahkan tetangga. Punya 2 rumah, nggak besar sih, dan beberapa mobil terbaru. Beberapa kali liburan ke negeri seberang. Cuman kalau membantu bangsa dan negara belum sanggup. Utangnya kebanyakan :D. Saya bantu dengan doa aja...

Begitu kawan-kawan. Setelah sekian lama berjuang, saya hanya ingin kasih tips buat anda. Ilmu ini begitu gampang dipelajari, dan saya kira adsense belum akan mati sejauh masih ada orang bikin produk dan web. Ya paling-paling untuk negeri kita di blacklist, makanya jangan macam-macam dengan adsense. Normal-normal aja dan ikuti semua petunjuk dengan baik, dan SIAP... LAKSANAKAN !!!

Saya tidak ingin pamer di sini, dan hanya bisa menulis artikel di blog ini sebagai ungkapan rasa syukur. Juga mengenang masa lalu. Juga tidak berminat menjual atau mengkursuskan TIPS-TIPS ADSENSE seperti yang banyak dilakukan oleh orang berhasil. Bila anda ingin belajar dari saya (PM me, chatting di YM atau Skype aja yach...) saya hanya akan mengajari anda untuk berproses dan menghargai proses. Itu aja...
